During our January Troop meetings - the boys practiced the necessary skills to compete at the NAC Klondike. We worked on first aid, rescue skills, survival skills, snow camping, cold weather cooking, and some repair work to the Troop 443 Klondike Sled. The hard work paid off - earning 2nd place for the "Snowshoe" Thompson award. While we didn't get our troop on the trophy this year - we did earn back our pancake making privileges at campouts by earning the "Best Flapjack" award.
